okay i was reading the new paper this morning
i came across 2 articles that really interest me
the first one is about a china national ,called zhang yuanyuan ,
with s'pore PR declares her loyalty to china on tv
she came to s'pore 6 yrs ago to study and work
gets PR status, $4000-a- month job with MNC here
she then returns to Beijing last Aug to participate in the women's militia
in last week's 60th anniversary celebration
her NRIC was flashed in tv clip or something
this arouse the unhappiness among some s'poreans
the main reason was because many ppl think that she shouldn't do that
& foreign talents are fighting for jobs with them
personally, i think these s'poreans are just jealous of her for being patrotic!
what's wrong with that?
it's nothing wrong that she love her mother land more than here okay
somemore, she's just a PR not as if she is s'porean lorhs
don't know what's wrong with the ppl out there
they are just so worried abour their rice bowl
if you want your rice bowl just work hard & fight for it
instead of complaining & critizing the foreigns
dun have the ability to do that then might as well just shut up!
i admire the gal for her will to serve her motherland
she doen't even mind that new job pays is only one-tenth of s'pore salary

next article is really a funny one
titled " 50 reasons S'pore is No 1"
i will just copy some of the reasons that i found is pretty interesting
